We’ll probably wait until March-ish to do a club event.

- Thursday, March 15th 8-10pm [RainOut night Friday, March 16th]

**Remember, we need to set up starting half an hour before we open. If you need a ride, meet in the MG/VH parking lot 40min before we open, and we can carpool.
We need to advertise more, the newspaper (column? – Kirksville Daily Express) and fliers for the community, and the Truman monthly calendar for the students.
We have some new telescopes, so if you’re interested in using them, email Vayu. We’ll try to do a lesson the night of the first Open House, so come around ~6ish (Vayu will send out emails).

Paul’s SPACE MOMENT: Orion – located due south in winter sky, near Taurus, Canis Major, Bellatrix, ~45 degrees due south ; Orion the Hunter was chasing the Seven Sisters (The Pleiades), and the gods sent Taurus the Bull after him to deter him. You can actually see the chase across the sky. Cool stuff in Orion – The Orion Nebula deep sky (telescope necessary), the Horsehead Nebula in Orion’s Belt (furthest left spot), M87 is a reflection nebula in Orion.

Contact Angela or Andy if you weren’t at the meeting to get your Tshirt. Don’t forget your extra dollar!
Next meeting Monday 1-30, at 5:30 pm in MG1099
